Sightings are presented as documented evidence — the recorded video, its date, location, and source — not as claims of origin or authenticity. The archive does not assert that any object is extraterrestrial. Information is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness.
Credibility scores and verification statuses reflect the weight of publicly available evidence and community input. They are indicative, not definitive, and may change over time.
User Submissions
By submitting footage or a sighting report, you confirm that you own the content or have the rights to share it, and that the submission does not infringe the rights of any third party or applicable law.
You grant the Alien Archive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and describe the submitted content as part of the public archive for the purpose of documenting the sighting.
Submissions are reviewed before publication. The archive reserves the right to decline, reclassify, or remove any submission at any time, including content that is off-topic, duplicated, AI-generated, fictional, or otherwise inconsistent with the archive's factual scope.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by uploading content you do not have rights to, submitting unlawful or infringing material, attempting to disrupt or overload the service, or using automated tools in a way that harms the archive. Moderators may act on submissions or accounts that violate these terms.
Third-Party Content and Links
Many sightings embed video hosted on third-party platforms such as YouTube. Those platforms' own terms of service and privacy policies apply to the embedded content and any interactions with it.
Source links point to original external pages. The archive does not control and is not responsible for the content or policies of external sites.
Advertising
The archive may display advertising, including via Google AdSense, on content pages. The presence of advertising does not imply endorsement of any advertised product or service.
