Status & Credibility
Listed as Verified because the record is confirmed by official government or military sources, or definitively corroborated through multiple independent channels. This is the strongest documentation tier in the archive and does not by itself establish what the object is.
This record carries a credibility score of 0.95% (Low tier), assigned on ingestion from source type, corroboration, and footage characteristics. Readers can adjust the score up or down on this page; the community vote is reflected in the figure shown above. Scoring methodology is detailed on the About page.
Source & Provenance
The footage for this record is sourced from youtube and embedded directly on this page so it can be reviewed in place. The original source is retained for verification; the archive records only what is documented in the source and does not assert the nature or origin of the object.
How This Record Was Documented
The Alien Archive records only what is documented in the source footage and its metadata — the date, the location, the description of what was observed, and where the recording came from. It does not assert that any sighting is extraterrestrial, nor does it editorialize the record beyond what is visible and reported. Each entry passes a multi-stage filter for AI-generated media, talking-head commentary, and non-embeddable sources before it is published; low-credibility and unreviewed records are kept out of search indexes until they meet the archive's bar.
For the definitions behind terms like UAP, FLIR, and declassified footage, see the glossary. For the full sourcing and verification methodology, see About the Archive.
